Health Freedoms Under Attack - Vitamin & Supplement Users: THIS AFFECTS YOU!
European Union's Food Supplement Directive
If you rely on vitamins and dietary supplements to maintain optimal health or treat illness and disease, then you may be disturbed to learn that your access to these often lifesaving products could soon be severely restricted. The Pharmaceutical Cartel controlled 'Codex Alimentarius Commission' has moved to 'harmonize' international standards for dietary supplements. Through the European Union's 'Food Supplement Directive', Codex plans to restrict access to many vitamins and supplements that compete with their patented drugs.
USA To Adopt Codex Standards
If you think this only affects European countries, then don't be fooled. The USA will have no choice but to adopt the same Codex standards due to its obligations under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). A precedent for this was established in 2002 when the World Trade Organisation (WTO) ruled that certain US tax laws that gave breaks to companies including Boeing and Microsoft were illegal.
Australia, New Zealand & Canada - It Begins Here
During 2003 in an unprecedented move, Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) removed 80% of all vitamins, supplements and related items from store shelves. This extraordinary action was taken under the false pretence of 'quality and safety concerns', without a single product assay to prove contamination. Canada has recently followed Australia's lead and New Zealand is now under immense pressure to 'harmonize' its vitamin laws also. Alliance For Natural Health - Last Chance
British based consumer advocacy group 'Alliance for Natural Health' (ANH) has been given the green light to challenge the European Union's Food Supplement Directive and may offer the only chance to overturn these draconian vitamin laws. The Alliance for Natural Health has hired one of the best law firms in Britain to handle the appeal and believes that they have a good case.
