 European Union's Food Supplement Directive

 USA To Adopt Codex Standards

A precedent for this was established in 2002 when the World Trade Organisation (WTO) ruled that certain US tax laws that gave breaks to companies including Boeing and Microsoft were illegal.
Australia, New Zealand & Canada - It Begins Here
During 2003 in an unprecedented move, Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) removed 80% of all vitamins, supplements and related items from store shelves.
