The Balm , which is also known as the “panacea” – remedy for all conditions – similarly brings the penetrating qualities of the Moor to affected areas. Working on and beneath the skin, the Balm eases and soothes in a quite unique way.
Balm may be used in a daily skin-care program – slightly heavier in texture than the face cream but can be used in exactly the same areas. The Balm has more of the Black Moor than the face cream. It can also be used for all skin blemishes, cuts, burns, sunburn, abrasions and grazes. It can be used as a body cream and as an ultra moisturising night cream. Balm is ideal for sportsmen, farmers, mountain climbers, fishermen, skiers, etc as it will protect and prevent windburn and the associated dryness. The Balm is gentle enough to be used for babies as in nappy rash, cradle cap etc. It is also ideal as a clearing cream for scarring, for dermatitis and itchy irritations, and for spot creaming any blemishes, not only on the face and neck, but also on the back, as many people, particularly males, have a blemish problem with their backs. It may also be used as a pre-game balm for sportsman to assist in mobilisation of lactic acid and to protect against chafing.
